Tyson Fury will stick two fingers to Donald Trump by making holes in two walls this weekend.

The Gypsy King is facing the undefeated but unknown Swede Otto Wallin at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It's a famous fight weekend that coincides with Mexico's Independence Day celebrations.

And Fury expressed sympathy for those living in Central American countries on either side of the US border who are suffering because the US president is building a wall to tighten immigration.

"It's not a good thing that a total underdog of this country shows so much love, passion and respect for the Mexican people," said the Manchester-born traveler.

"The minute they are oppressed by the people here – building a wall, rejecting them completely and treating them terribly.

"All the Mexicans I have met have shown love, respect and honor. They fear God, people.

"I do not know what's going on, but it's nice to see a world heavyweight, world champion, come here and respect people and pay tribute to their beliefs and special days.

"I know what it's like to be out there. I grew up around that, I was raised around that. "

The gypsy king came out Tuesday for his open training at the MGM Grand hotel, wearing a Mexican wrestling mask while Latin music was making itself heard.

Boxing on the weekend of Mexican independence has become a great tradition in the sport since the time when legend Julio Cesar Chavez fought against Pernell Whitaker on the date of 1993.

Oscar De La Hoya then took the lead before American Floyd Mayweather Jnr gate crashes the weekend and establishes himself as his in the battle capital of the world by allowing him to increase his revenue and his pay-per-view figures.

Since Mayweather's retirement, Mexican Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has returned to a more traditional affair, but he withdrew from T-Mobile on September 14, after having found an opponent.

Fury promoters Top Rank have rushed to take the room and, although it is a British fighter facing a Swede, they hope to attract a large crowd this weekend.

"I have Mexican shorts, Mexican gloves, Mexican mask, Mexican music, Mexican flag. I do not know how much more respect I can show, "said Fury.

"It's a whole list of boxing fighters on this date.

"The funny thing is that Canelo was supposed to box this weekend in Vegas, but for some reason, he decided not to do it, but I spoke for the Mexicans.

"I started the fight four weeks later to get there. Good job I stayed fit. I am fit and always ready.

"It was supposed to be in New York in October, but I decided to present it and put it on a special date.

"This is the second time Fury has been fighting in Las Vegas after beating Tom Schwarz in two rounds at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in June.

There will not be as many ticket requests this weekend as if Alvarez was fighting, but Fury's face is still on the famous Strip.

Top Rank promoters continue to try to raise their profile on this side of the Atlantic before next year's rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

"This is the second consecutive fight and my face is as popular as David Copperfield is on the MGM side," added Fury.

Copperfield is the world famous magician, but this week, Fury will certainly have some tricks in his bag to entertain fans.
