Minnesota has been on guard sporadically, most of the season.
The Vikings started with Pat Elflein at the right guard post. Then Elflein got injured.
After that, the team first went with Dru Samia on guard. Samia got injured after a few disappointing games.
Finally, Ezra Cleveland seemed to be the answer to the Vikings’ right guard problem. Minnesota’s bad luck at the position continued, however: Cleveland was injured and Brett Jones replaced him.
The Vikings appear to be looking for an additional custody option, based on the league’s transaction thread:
