The LG G8X appears in a special case to give you two screens, not one.

The LG G8X ThinQ is the company's attempt to regain the lost ground in recent years. Chinese newcomers such as Huawei have begun to swallow up a share of the global telephony market. However, what distinguishes this phone is its compatibility with a Double screen, which doubles the size of the display. This could make the G8X an alternative to the foldable phone as the brand new Galaxy Foldif you are not quite ready to engage in a brand new form factor.
In addition to the dual-screen attachment, this updated version of LG G8 ThinQ for the most part eliminates the bells and whistles of its predecessor and focuses instead on the user experience and the camera.
No more different G8 biometric authentication options. Instead, we just have a fingerprint sensor in the screen (a first for an LG phone). The OLED audio system that LG has been advocating for a few years on his phone has also disappeared. This is replaced by two 1.2-watt "perfectly balanced" stereo speakers located at the top and bottom of the phone.

The G8X incorporates LG's new UX, which offers more space, higher contrast, bolder fonts and a night mode interface. Other new features include an updated camera with a stable camera, an action in AI mode, an enhanced portrait mode and a 4K accelerated mode.
The only outstanding feature of the G8X ThinQ could help it to interest a specific but growing niche: ASMR videos. The "ASMR mode" is one of the specific video options available via the built-in camera application. Turn it on to increase the microphone capacity by 10 decibels to capture and accentuate the minutia of the sounds you may be making.
A brief test, in which I whispered on the phone, then watched the recordings in a bar of a high-end London hotel, had proved to me that the recording volume was definitely increased in this mode. But not being an ASMR geek, I find it hard to tell if the mic setting actually improves the ASMR video viewing experience.
