Galaxy Note 10+ barely wins the victory against the iPhone XS Max and the Pixel 3 behind closed doors

The Galaxy Note 10+ is the hottest version of the season. Although his camera is almost identical to that of the Galaxy S10, it still means that he's extremely powerful.

You know how we are, guys – a new flagship is coming, we can not help but stage a heated camera comparison. And we know you love these fun shoot-outs. That's why we made sure to get one with Note 10+ faster than anyone in the galaxy.

There is a three-way comparison between the best handheld cameras: the Galaxy Note 10+, the iPhone XS Max and the Pixel 3, and we have prepared awesome scenes for your pleasure. Can there be better than that? No? That's what we thought. Let's go!

SCENE 1: GREAT MASTER V

scores (1-10)

A man known by many names. On his passport, it is written Victor Hristov. On YouTube, he is better known as Vic Christoph. And only God knows what hot senoritas he dances his salsa with the call! As a writer and co-producer of this beautiful camera comparison, I will allow myself to add an extra name to the list: Grand Master V! No idea what he feels about it; suppose I'll know it on Monday.

The Galaxy Note 10+, the central figure of this comparison, makes its debut by taking the first round! It offers the best definition, the richest colors and the most enjoyable exposure of the three participating phones. The iPhone XS Max comes in second place, being quite solid itself, but its photo is just a little muted, compared to that of the Note 10+. A third very close is the Pixel 3, which offers a result almost identical to that of the XS Max, but slightly duller.

SCENE 2: "$ 10 IF YOU STOP WHEN WE ARE AT TOP"

The big thing about Ferris wheels is that everything that goes up there stays there. Remember that, guys.

About the same observations as in Scene 1 are valid here. Note 10+ keeps your head with rich colors and perfect exposure. Then come the iPhone XS Max, then the Pixel 3, which mitigate somewhat the effects (for no apparent reason). All three phones did a good job with HDR processing, but the Note 10+ excels.

SCENE 3: HEART ARM

While his friends call him Rado, the women usually call him "Yes, sir," for whatever reason. Probably the result of a spectacular education.

This turns out to be a relatively easy win for the iPhone XS Max – it has captured the most balanced and balanced portrait of the three. Note 10+ is close to color reproduction, but is too fuzzy. Meanwhile, the Pixel 3 has come up with artificial colors and a bokeh too fake to be taken seriously. It should be noted that its lack of telephoto is evident in the proportions, which are correct, but not quite correct.

Scene 4: INFINITE GARDEN

"The destructive capacity of man only equaled his ability to create beauty in the world."- broken heart

Scene 4 is the first scene where the Pixel has managed to stand out from the competition by offering the most complete picture possible. The dreamy flowers, slightly overestimated, benefit the entire composition. The 10+ rating is not bad either, although we are not necessarily fans of the colder profile that he prefers here. The iPhone XS Max has decided to embark on the opposite spectrum, creating an image too hot. Deceptively hot.

Scene 5: "I'm not short, it's too late"

What we observe here is Einstein's theory of general relativity fully in force. There is no short, tall, thin, fat, stupid or intelligent. Everything is relative, there is always a bigger fish in the sea! For example, we could say that Vic is taller than me, but on the other hand, I am taller than ……. you know what, forget that. The most lamentable theory of all!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is scientifically proven that selfie cameras on smartphones are zero. They are too wide, deform your head perfectly shaped and make you look like a banana. While we share perhaps 60% of our genes with the yellow type, but still! That's why we congratulate Pixel 3 for having a functional portrait mode for selfies. Take a look at the three photos and you will discover considerable differences between the proportions. Initially, the 10+ and XS Max images may look correct. But then you look at the picture of the Pixel and the tears begin to flow, while you realize that all this time we made fake selfies.

SCENE 6: BELLA FIGURA

You have to give it to the Italians: they make maybe the craziest cars on the planet, but they certainly have the best food!

We can not really choose a winner between the Galaxy Note 10+ and the iPhone XS Max here – there does not seem to be any significant difference in this scene. Pixel 3, however, has botched things under-exponent and making everything more yellow than necessary.

SCENE 7: MOONWALK

So, Vic and I wander in the evening, looking for some great scenes to capture for camera comparison. A gentle summer breeze cools our torn bodies. And all of a sudden, a breathtaking view of the clear, clear moon over the sea. At that moment, we realized that we are only two predators at the top of this world.

The Galaxy Note 10+ and Apple's iPhone XS Max behaved respectably in these less than ideal conditions, with the iPhone delivering faster and sharper results. The picture of pixel 3, on the other hand, is too weak. It's unnecessarily yellow and noisy.

SCENE 8: SUMMER VIBES

While we were busy conquering the world, others were relaxing at the beach, socializing and having fun. Oh well, you know what they say – it's loneliness at the top!

The Galaxy Note 10+ kills him here with well-balanced colors and a decent and realistic exposure of the scene. The iPhone XS Max has managed to follow the colors, but his photo is a little darker. The pixel 3? Well, you can see the orange results for yourselves.

SCENE 9: V IS VICIOUSLY HANDSOME

Here's the thing, guys: there is beautiful, and then there is viciously beautiful. There is nothing wrong with being handsome, but if you want to be a great master or a heartbreaker, you have to improve your game! And as in most things in life, everything begins with a magnetic selfie.

The Pixel 3's is imposed as the ultimate selfie machine. Again, we make the most of the little light available on site. It produces a perfectly usable selfie with a nice color and exposure. The iPhone XS Max is not bad at all, but it is obviously darker than the ideal. Finally, the grade 10+ is well lit, but its watercolor appearance does not allow to present the subject under the best possible lighting. Think of the hundreds of tastes that you will miss because of this.

Well, that's it, people. We have reached the end of the comparison and it only remains to watch the final scores.

Do not forget that, like most camera comparisons, these scores reflect camera performance in these particular scenes. They do not necessarily mean that one camera is 100% better than the others. That said, the notes seem quite revealing.

What they reveal, is that the three cameras are incredibly awesome! However, what we have also seen this time is that the Pixel 3 has stumbled somewhat in some scenes, usually returning too hot colors and a strangely low exposure. We tell you, these algorithms can be too smart for their good sometimes!

The Galaxy Note 10+ tended to outperform competitors most of the time, but not much, which the final scores illustrate with stunning accuracy. Almost error free, it offered a rich balance of rich colors, crisp definition and breathtaking exposure. The near second, the iPhone XS Max, remains the fastest and easiest camera to use if you want to get great results without any understanding of the photographic process as a whole. There are sometimes underexposed or too hot photos, but most of the time, it is perfect.
