Galaxy S21 One UI 4.0 is delayed indefinitely

The beta version of Samsung’s latest Android skin, One UI 4.0, was due out no later than today, September 10. However, that day is now over and it did not end up happening. stuck on hold indefinitely.

This can be frustrating news for owners of The Galaxy S21 series that were hoping to get their hands on the new skin for early beta testing. Samsung announced months ago that only its flagship premium line would have the option to participate in the beta test, before the official version was released to everyone.
The South Korean owners of the Galaxy S21 family were said to have been the first to receive the beta update today, with the rollout then spreading to the rest of the world shortly thereafter. However, the tech giant’s home country is just as stuck as we are waiting for beta testing to begin.

We still don’t know much about what the latest version of the Android skin will have to offer. Not too long ago, a frequent informant named Ice Universe told us that One UI will change some things in the UI, as well as add a transparency effect to the notifications section.

We’re also apparently getting a new loading animation, judging by how it looks, as Ice Universe tweeted a clip of what appears to be the new one (though it’s unlikely to be the final version, as basic as it appears in the video):

As some may have noticed, Samsung ended up skipping the One UI 3.5 update this year, focusing instead on the official release of One UI 4.0. However, apparently, that didn’t speed up the process, as we’re still waiting as long as it takes to finally join us.
