Game Fools April Fools 2019

[ad_1]

It's the end of March, and that means the Internet is a quagmire of elaborate jokes so perfectly executed that they will make fools of April.

I laugh. Many of them are actually a bit crappy, but it's still fun when game developers jump on the bandwagon. Or just cringey. Whatever it is, we sometimes have jokes and sometimes events of limited duration, such as when Guild Wars 2 added a Super Adventure Box a month ago.

We've put together a list of jokes, strange videos and other activities from this year that are sure to separate you. Most of what we have found so far comes from Japanese developers, as the country is in the future, while we are still stuck in March.

Capcom has released a game including Street Fighter 5 for PC and smartphones. World President Challenges: A shooting game is a shot that sees G confront Shadaloo's forces. You can find the game here if you want to make a whirlpool.

There's also this weird video on Capcom's YouTube channel, which describes an android making noise and referring to a video of 2016.

Nintendo'S' made jutes with Kirby, who exchanged his forms with Qbby for an April fool (via Nintendo Insider). Apparently, all the illustrations on Kirby's official website were traded with a Kirby Square, while BoxBoy! Qbby is abnormally round.

Sega's RGG Studio released a mockumentary video featuring a (fake) turn-based RPG starring Yakuza Kasuga Ichiban from Online.

The studio is working on a new Yakuza game that will feature Kasuga Ichiban. It is therefore possible that the resources used come from the game.

Riot Games introduced the skin Epic Cats VS Dogs in League of Legends Icons and borders are also in the store and can also be earned by completing missions.

If you wish, you can choose sets including Fuzz Fizz, Corgi Corki, Meowrick and Pretty Kitty Rengar. You can find out more about skins, emotes, loot and more that you can win and buy during the event on the League of Legends website.

D3 The publisher has "fled" the Earth Defense Force 6 for his April Fool's joke. If you like rap and silly dancing, it'll be right on your street.

We will keep an eye on the weather for more as we enter the 1st of April.
