In January 2019, the Microsoft Rewards awards were won by the winner of the contest, William D., and a guest in Seattle for the Chief Gaming Officer Experience. They met Major Nelson and Jen Taylor (Cortana's voice) at Studio D for a live mixing session. William has been granted lifetime membership status for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass. They visited Microsoft's archives, visited 343 Industries, the studio behind Halo, and had lunch with Xbox executives and shopped at the Company Store, and so on.
