Game of Thrones has hidden real thrones around the world and 5 have been found

If a show is doing good marketing, it's Game of Thrones.

the last season begins April 14, less than a month away. In order to create a hype around this, because we were certainly not excited enough, HBO has hidden six replicas of the iron throne in different countries of the world.

As in the series, fans are supposed to fight for these thrones and make their quest known by using the #ForTheThrone hashtag on social media. HBO has launched a site called For The Throne, where you can find clues, including a 360-degree broadcast stream of each of the thrones in their different locations.

So far, five of these streams have been aired, the first on March 18, and the last revealed the location of the sixth throne imminently, given that a countdown at the time of writing indicates that we have one week before the hour.

People have found the five thrones liberated up to now, the first discovery attributed to Alex Bowring and Tom Maullin-Sapey of Oxford, England, who found a throne in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, in the UK, according to The Radio Times. More precisely in Puzzlewood, an old forest located in the forest, which would have inspired the forests of J. R. R. Tolkein in The Lord of the Rings.

The people on the thrones seem to be presented with a replica of Robert Baratheon's crown by people dressed in furs worthy of the ex-Lord of the Seven Kingdoms.

The last throne was discovered in Tumbler Ridge, BC, Canada on Tuesday by Kevin and Birgit Sharman, according to The Star Calgary.
