Game topic Jets vs Browns

Monday Night Football and the New York Jets host the Cleveland Browns in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The week was hectic at One Jets Drive.

Just since last week, the Jets have a new starting quarterback, a new kicker, a new beginning linebacker on the inside and a new wide outdoor catcher. The wounds virus hit the Jets hard and early this year. Sam Darnold came out with, of all things, mono and Trevor Siemian's era (hopefully short lived) is upon us. The star of the line player C.J. Mosley is injured in the groin and rookie Blake Cashman receives the call. It can not be good. Quincy Enunwa is lost for the year, and perhaps forever, with a neck injury, and Demaryius Thomas is acquired through a deal with the Patriots, all teams combined. Bizarre. Sam Ficken is the flavor of the week at Kicker; we'll see if he can keep the job longer than his multiple predecessors this year. Le'eon Bell has a broken shoulder but should play. First-round draft pick, Quinnen Williams, came out with an ankle injury. Things are rather bleak for this game against the Browns.

The positive fact is that the Browns seemed utterly lost to the Tennessee Titans in a 43-13 loss last week to open the season. The line of attack was a sieve, Baker Mayfield was not under pressure all night, the Browns accumulated more than 180 penalty yards on 18 penalties and they returned the ball three times. This is the kind of scary performance that the Jets need Browns tonight to avoid a winless start in the first two games of the 2019 season.

It's the Jets and the Browns who play football Monday night. Leave your comments in the cleverly marked "comments" section below. Enjoy the game everyone.
