The Gamescom 2019 has really started and Nintendo has kicked off the procedure by hosting a stream dedicated to independent games on the horizon for Switch. During the week, participants will have the opportunity to see and play several upcoming games. However, before everything starts, a series of exciting press conferences is planned. Showcase of India on Nintendo Gamescom – August 19

The independent showcase of Nintendo opened the series and, as expected, offers some very interesting announcements. Inside Xbox Press Conference – August 19th

It was a fairly standard live Xbox Live streaming from Microsoft, although that does not mean it was missing. There were a lot of trailers and revelations, including the Gears 5 Horde mode, the new Xbox One controller colors, the new Xbox Game Pass games, and so on. Notably, Bungie also appeared on the show to talk about Destiny 2: Shadowkeep; Until now, Destiny had reached an exclusive deal with PlayStation, which meant that the game was usually only presented during Sony events. The Gamescom Stadia Connect event ended and it was a simple presentation filled with trailers. Many of them were destined for games that had not yet been confirmed for Stadia, including Cyberpunk 2077.

Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live event is about to begin and promises a ton of news from across the industry. This includes a new trailer for the Gears 5 campaign and the appearance of Hideo Kojima, who will no doubt be talking about Death Stranding before its release later this year.
