Brooks announced on Wednesday that the couple had been quarantined together at home in Tennessee after a member of their team tested positive for the virus.

“The Queen and I have now tested twice,” said Brooks. “Officially, she has been diagnosed ‘coming out of the tunnel’ now, for which I am extremely grateful. Anyone who knows me knows my world begins and ends with Miss Yearwood, so she and I will go through this together.”

Brooks had high hopes that Yearwood would get back, calling her “a fighter” and saying “she did everything right, so I know we’ll come out on the other side of this thing together.”

Brooks, who performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration last month, added Yearwood was in the best care near them.

“We are very fortunate that she is currently under the greatest care in the best city to treat and heal the singers.”
