Gavin DeGraw sang the national anthem and found himself face down on the ice.

DeGraw's face planted shortly after making his rendition of the national anthem before the start of the fifth Stanley Cup playoff game between the Predators and the Dallas Stars Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.

Just after finishing the anthem, DeGraw stepped back and instead of his right foot stepping on the mat, which is unrolled specifically for the anthem singers so that they do not slip no, his foot was on the ice.

As a result, DeGraw slipped, fell and wiped on the ice.

It was an embarrassing moment for DeGraw, who had in the 2000s pop songs "Chariot", "I do not want to be" and "In love with a girl". And his performance before his slip was error free.

DeGraw went on Facebook and said: "Someone said:" breaks a leg. "I listened," make fun of himself.

Country music artist Stephen Cochran recounted on Facebook how he almost slipped before singing the national anthem.

Cochran said, "So I walked with the most pronounced step, then I think everyone had already seen … look like a Tennessee horse … Whatever it is, I feel the pain of Gavin DeGraw. "
