Gavin DeGraw disappears after singing the national anthem during the Predators game

Gavin DeGraw sang the national anthem as Nashville Predators-Dallas Stars' fifth Saturday match 5 approached in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And it was great – until it was not.

He has received praise from those at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and fans of Internet hockey. His performance was so good, in fact, that you could even say that he was swept off his own feet.

Singing on the ice, DeGraw stood on a carpet carefully highlighted so that people without skates do not slip. But as the musician stepped back after the song, his foot seemed to miss the mat and he still ended up clearing the ice.

Of course, NBC cut the video just before the fall of DeGraw, but fans of the game shared their videos.

We certainly hope that DeGraw is OK, that falling on the ice does not bother you, whether you are covered with pads or not. But it seems that he is well after this fall, because he then tweeted his support for Nashville. No mention of wipeout however.

Fans love his national anthem. The Predators and Stars took part in the fifth match with the series tied at 2-2.
