Last week, Gearbox Software released the third main game in the Borderlands series. Although the company has previously stated that this particular entry is unlikely to reach the switch, this does not completely exclude the series.
According to creative director Paul Sage, there is still a chance to all The Borderlands series game will soon be launched on Nintendo's Hybrid System – Gearbox's employee saying "never say never" in response to a question from fans at the recent Borderlands Show.
Earlier this year, in April, Gearbox's CEO, Randy Pitchford, had responded to another fan on Twitter, revealing how much he would "like" the looter shooter to make his way to the Switch. Some rumors have even circulated about a Switch version of Borderlands, but so far the only FPS Gearbox he's received is Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition.
