GeForce Now game streaming begins rolling out Chrome support

If you want to try NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service without installing the app, you may be able to access it through your computer’s browser now. XDA points out that the GeForce Now version 2.0.27 release notes reveal beta support for Chrome browser on Windows and macOS, but some users are reporting that they are still using older versions. As for other platforms like other browsers or Linux, they “may work” but are not supported at this time.

If you are a customer in the properly activated group, then just browsing the website is enough to get started. NVIDIA has also added a way to share GeForce Now by simply sending a link to your friends, a new + Shortcut button to place games directly on your desktop, as well as support for Apple’s new M1 powered Macs.
