Gemma Chan attends Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show

She gained worldwide fame when she was cast for the hit comedy Crazy Rich Asians.

And Gemma Chan looked amazing as she attended the Louis Vuitton Spring / Summer fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

The actress, 38, shows off her sense of style in an eye-catching black coat with puffed sleeves and a dramatic collar.

The movie star also donned black leather pants while adding height to her frame with black heels.

Also wearing a black top, Gemma added a brown handbag and a gold necklace to her outfit.

Letting her brown locks fall over her shoulders, she completed her look with a pair of gold earrings.

It comes after Gemma recently discussed racial diversity in the film industry for Vogue’s feature film New Beginnings.

The actress – who stars as Sersi in Eternals, this fall’s Marvel blockbuster, – said it was only a “recent thing” that Asian women could be the protagonists of stories.

She said: “It’s only quite recently that Asian women have been able to be the protagonists of stories.

“Individual success is one thing. But structurally, when you look at who can actually get the green light for projects in the UK, who is in these positions of power, these checkpoints – there aren’t many Asians. There aren’t many people of color in these positions.

Standing side by side with others on social causes, she went on to explain, “If only black people care about Black Lives Matter, nothing will change.

“And if only Asians talk about Stop Asian Hate, nothing will change. And it’s only when we support each other, and stand side by side, that things will change.

During the interview, Gemma also opened up about her upcoming lead role as Sersi in Eternals, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao.

“First of all, I didn’t expect to be back in the MCU,” said Gemma, who played sniper Kree Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel in 2019.
