Sam Burns will look to hold back a heavy hitting group at the Genesis Invitational on Sunday and claim his first PGA Tour victory. Things will start early at Riviera Country Club with the restart of round three. Burns has a two-time lead on the court, but several big winners on his heels as Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth all chase.
Everything that happens on the last day of the tournament to wrap up the West Coast swing will be dramatic. It’s always when someone looking for their first one tries to get them into the house, and DJ and Spieth are involved. The Riviera is also expected to take center stage, as it has played as a major championship venue all week and is expected to continue that trend all day Sunday in this Genesis Final.
