Genshin impact will have a collaboration with the fast food chain, KFC. Also known as Kentucky Fried Chicken, the collaboration includes both in-game rewards and actual advertisements at Chinese restaurants. The promotion will begin in China on March 8, 2021. [Thanks, Forbes!] Information on other territories is a bit hazy, although we have confirmation that in-game rewards will be coming to the West in one form or another.

The Genshin impact KFC’s collaboration centers around the characters Noelle and Diluc, though others will see some love as well. When it comes to in-game rewards, players can get KFC colored wings for their favorite heroes. Additionally, there will be Noelle and Diluc sticker sets to use as emoticons. Thanks to Twitter user AE Entropy, fans can check out Noelle’s stickers here and here. There are also unique stickers of a few other characters, including Keqing. At KFC restaurants in China, fans can get a bucket of chicken with Diluc in a waiter’s uniform on it.

As for what’s to come to the West of this crossover, the game’s update 1.4 trailer gave us a hint. The image above is from the end of the video. It clearly shows both Noelle and Diluc in their KFC server uniforms with the words “coming soon.”

The Genshin impact The KFC event kicks off in China on March 8, 2021. Game Update 1.4 will launch on March 17, 2021. Genshin impact is available on PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS, with a Nintendo Switch port in the works.
