Well, things are sorting out a bit in Genshin Impact after a stream of high-level Inazuma characters arrived in 2.0 and 2.1. We’ve seen Ayaka, Yoimiya, the Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, Sayu, and Kokomi, so it’s finally time to get back to reruns for a bit. Although at least one more new Inazuma character is coming as well.
The special program announced today that the next two Genshin Impact banners will feature reruns of Childe and Hu Tao, the Hydraulic Bow and the 5-Star Polearm, respectively. The catch is, Hu Tao’s banner will also feature a new 4-star pyro pole weapon, Thoma, which we’ve already encountered several times in Genshin Impact’s Inazuma story.
We’re not done with the characters of Inazuma yet. We know for sure that Yae Miko and Gorou will eventually arrive, and it seems likely that Scaramouche will be arriving at some point as well (I suspect they changed his name in the English version of the game recently?). We just learned that he is essentially a Raiden Shogun clone.
But of course what you’ve all been waiting for, the primogem gift codes that were given away as part of the stream when they announced patch 2.2. They are:
- LBNDKG8XDTND – 100 Primogems and 10 Mystic Ore
- BSNUJGQFUTPM – 100 primogemes and 50,000 Mora
- NB6VKHQWVANZ – 100 primogems and 5 Hero’s Wits
These only last until tomorrow, so act quickly to redeem them. You enter them here on the Genshin site.
So there will be some new event and story content on top of that, but it’s going to be a bit of a break from the sheer flow of Inazuma content we’ve seen before. Which is good, and I know at least a few people are excited to see these reruns. Childe and Hu Tao have been key members of my team for most of the year, and I already have Hu Tao at C2, so I probably don’t need to go further down the rabbit hole to she. I don’t have his staff, however …
Genshin Impact is stepping away from its anniversary drama, and while fans were crazy about it, most seem to give up and move on, returning to the game as usual. There are still a lot of giveaways coming between holiday events and special prizes, and hey, today’s codes will be almost you get two pull-ups by themselves. Just do your daily quests for the extra 20, and off you go.
