A new Genshin Impact the update is expected to arrive later this week to coincide with Gamescom 2021. While this update is not an actual update for the game, developer MiHoYo will simply update fans on what content is expected to arrive. in the free title further down the road.
News of that announcement coming later this week was revealed by host and producer Geoff Keighley on social media today. Keighley revealed that Genshin Impact will attend Gamescom Opening Night Live, an event organized by itself to kick off the world’s largest gaming convention. Keighley didn’t say what will be specifically shown in connection with the game, but did say it would be “special updates.” Essentially, this means that we should just take a look at future content in the direction of Genshin Impact.

As to what else will be available during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Keighley has started teasing a number of other titles that will appear during the event. Of those that have been revealed so far, the appearance of a new Saints Row reboot appears to be on the cards. In addition, we also plan to have a new look at Call of Duty: The Vanguard, which was just revealed just a few days ago.

Until then you can currently play Genshin now for yourself on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in the works, but it doesn’t have a launch date just yet.
