Sunday, George Clooney opened at CBS Sunday morning about his career, personal life, and his (alleged) favorite method of cutting his own hair: with the ’80s vacuum haircut accessory, Flowbee, perhaps best known via Wayne’s worldparody of the iconic computer product.

“I’ve been cutting my hair for 25 years,” the actor said. “My hair really looks like straw, so it’s easy to cut. You can’t really make too many mistakes. So years ago I bought an item called Flowbee. Clooney says, “It comes with a vacuum cleaner and a mower. Yeah, I still have it. My haircuts literally take two minutes. The actor laughed, ‘Look, man, this is working.’

Now, we’ve never seen George Clooney get his haircut in person (not many times we politely asked), but between his consistently excellent hair and his longtime love of pranks, we think Clooney does. than pulling our legs with a vacuum haircut system. Still, we’re going to need Clooney’s good friend and Clooney’s former roommate Richard Kind to find out for sure. Until then: Thank you, George Clooney, for breaking up the sad end of a terrible year by reminding us that once, for a brilliant moment, people cut their hair with a Flowbee.
