George Clooney says he uses a Flowbee to cut his hair

George Clooney doesn’t count a pair of scissors as his style secret weapon.

Over the weekend, the 59-year-old actor made an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, revealing he had been his own hairstylist for years.

“I’ve been cutting my own hair for 25 years,” Clooney said. “My hair really looks like straw, so it’s easy to cut, I can’t really make too many mistakes.”

Clooney credited a Flowbee, which is a “vacuum haircut system” developed in the 1980s, as his long-standing tool.

“Years ago I bought a thing called Flowbee,” Clooney said. “It comes with a vacuum cleaner and a mower, yes. I still have it. “

“My haircuts literally take two minutes,” he continued.

Understandably, social media made a few comments on the Clooney infomercial reveal.

“Dear Colleagues: Using the Flowbee to cut your hair will NOT make you look like George Clooney. Just put that out there before you spend your money, ” one user commented on Twitter.

“Finding out that George Clooney is using a Flowbee is the craziest thing I’ve heard in the last 24 hours,” another said.

The Twitter account for Clooney’s new movie, “The Midnight Sky,” also weighed in on their lead man’s hairstyle.

“We cannot confirm or deny the use of a Flowbee on the set of #TheMidnightSky,” the account posted on Sunday.

The Oscar winner added that he would “not test” the Flowbee on his six-year-old wife, Amal.

“I wouldn’t do that to my wife…” Clooney said.
