George Clooney’s barber skills are a cut above the rest.
After the 59-year-old Hollywood idol made headlines for revealing he was cutting his hair with a Flowbee, Jimmy Kimmel put the actor’s chops to the test on live television.
“You turn on the vacuum cleaner, turn on the buzzer and you go to town!” Clooney exclaimed, demonstrating his technique on Wednesday’s episode of the Kimmel show.
The ‘Midnight Sky’ actor explained that he started using the device in the ’80s – which was originally sold in informal commercials and can still be purchased for around $ 100 – over two decades.
“I think my assistant got it originally… and then it broke down. And then you couldn’t get them for a while, ”he told Kimmel.
“People who have assistants shouldn’t be flowbee-ing their hair,” the host, 53, joked in response.
“Well I took her to Flowbee my hair for me. I don’t do it myself – my god it’s cheap! Clooney joked.
The star initially shared her style secret on CBS’s “Sunday Morning”, describing her hair as “so easy to cut. You can’t really make too many mistakes.”
“My haircuts literally take two minutes,” he added.
