HUFFMAN, Texas (KTRK) – The Harris County Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that broke out in his former professional boxer George Foreman on Sunday night in Huffman.

According to officials, the fire would have started in the garage, apparently in a golf cart posed against the back wall. The teams managed to prevent it from spreading to the rest of the house.

There were at least 40 vehicles in the garage, where the fire started, but none of them was damaged.

"At present, it seems that the cars are in pretty good condition, we have an origin that is at the back of the garage, but there is a lot of smoke and water damage." Rachel Moreno, from the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.

There were people in the house at the time of the fire, but everyone managed to get out safely. We do not know if Foreman was at home or he saw the fire and called 911.

Foreman sent a tweet after the fire by writing, "Do not worry, everything is fine, the dogs are barking and I do not want to say my feet, thanks to all the firefighters, Huffman, Houston New Caney, Atascocita."

Last month, his family was hit with tragedy when his daughter, Freeda Foreman, committed suicide.
