“Farmers and ranchers have long been used to illegal activities, but they have reached a point where they are not sustainable and we need the help of the federal government,” he said.
He announced the lawsuit last week as part of the Texas Defense Task Force, set up by Bush to identify federal excesses and push back on perceived threats to the Texas economy. He is suing Biden and the Department of Homeland Security on the grounds that the end of the construction of the wall is illegal.
