The deputies who were on the scene said that the family dog - a mixed husky – had entered a bedroom where the baby was resting and bitten him in the head.

The Hall County Fire Department took the child to Northeastern Georgia Medical Center, where she died later, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The Hall County Animal Control took custody of the dog, according to the report.
