The national signing day for the 2021 signing class will take place on Wednesday. The Georgia Bulldogs are awaiting announcement from 4-star safety Terrion Arnold to make his announcement, as he is the last major target in the 2021 recruiting class.
The Bulldogs enter the day with recruiting class # 3 and will end there if they land Arnold. The other 20 Georgia prospects have already signed on with the program, which was done in December.

Georgia Football National Signing Day 2021 live updates
11:30 am Update: Georgia have their first commitment of the day, as 2022 defensive tackle Bear Alexander has signed up for Georgia.
Alexander announced the decision via his social media.

Alexander gives Georgia eight commitments in the 2022 cycle. He is the first to come from outside the state of Georgia because he is from Denton, TX. He will play defensive tackle in college and is the No. 140 player in the round as of now. Her commitment makes Georgia second in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Alexander’s announcement brought out Kirby Smart’s first GO DAWGS of the day. It should be noted that Alexander does not consider himself a replacement for Jordan Davis.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart is scheduled to meet with the media at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday to discuss Georgia’s signing class. While this is ahead of Arnold’s announcement, Smart will have a number of topics to discuss, such as the new defensive-backs coach, the transfer portal and other news and notes regarding Georgia’s schedule.
Smart also did an interview with Rivals, where he touched on a number of topics including offensive online recruiting, Brock Vandagriff and Xavian Sorey.
9:45 am update: Bear Alexander, a 4-star defensive tackle for 2022, is expected to announce his engagement around 11:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Jeff Sentell of DawgNation recently sat down with Alexander to get a taste of his engagement.

If Georgia landed Alexander, the Bulldogs would be second in the 2022 recruiting rankings. Alexander would be Georgia’s first 2022 class entry outside of the state of Georgia, coming from Denton, TX. Georgia’s seven pledges for 2022 currently come from the state of Georgia.
A few big names have announced their commitments, with Oregon landing 4-star cornerback Avante Dickerson and 4-star Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace of Jesup, Ga.
For now, the Bulldogs are still going strong with the # 3 ranked class in the 2021 cycle. Texas A&M and LSU both have the potential to add to their classes today, which could make it interesting to see if Georgia has the diamond hands to hold that place. Landing Arnodl would win it for Georgia, however.
7 hour update: For the 2021 class, Georgia is just waiting for Arnold. He is number 50 in the 2021 recruitment cycle and number 3 in security. Arnold is from Tallahassee, Fla., And plans to qualify for the final three from Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
Arnold is expected to announce his engagement at 4 p.m. ET. DawgNation will have live coverage of the announcement on its social channels.
Georgia could also receive good news for the 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday, as 4-star defensive tackle Bear Alexander will announce his signing. Alexander is No. 140 in the 2022 cycle outlook and is from Denton, TX.
The Bulldogs have the # 3 ranked recruiting classes in the 2021 recruiting cycle and the 2022 recruiting cycle. Georgia cannot climb any higher in the 2021 cycle as Alabama will finish with the # 1 class and l he state of Ohio will arrive at No.2.

- Xavian Sorey Jr. / 5-star linebacker / IMG Academy / Graceville, GA: Sorey has signed up in Georgia over Alabama and Florida. Sorey is good friends with fellow Georgian who recruits Terrion Arnold and was a high school teammate with Georgia signatories Marlin Dean and Lovasea Carroll.
- Smael Mondon / 5 Star Linebacker / Paulding County High School / Dallas, GA: An athletic marvel who can play inside or outside linebacker for the Bulldogs. Help fill a major need as Georgia is set to lose Monty Rice after the season. Georgia beat Auburn and Tennessee for Mondon. Find out how Georgia ended up taking 34th place overall in this class.
- Micah Morris / 4 Star Offensive Guard / Camden County High School / Kingsland, GA: Overall prospect # 66 in the recruiting class of 2021. He nearly committed to Georgia while Sam Pittman was still the line coach offensive, but Matt Luke ended up winning for his service.
- Nyland Green / Cornerback 4 Star / Newton High School / Covington, GA: Overall prospect # 71 in the 2021 recruiting cycle. He is the highest rated defensive back in the Georgia recruiting class. He signed up for Georgia earlier in December, when he picked the Bulldogs over Clemson, Auburn and Tennesse.
- David Daniel / 4 Star Athlete Who Will Play Safety / Woodstock High School / Woodstock, GA: Perspective # 96 of the 2021 Recruitment Cycle. Daniel is Georgia’s most engaged class member, as he signed up in Georgia in September 2019. He has become a major asset on the recruiting trail for Georgia.
- Brock Bowers / 4-star tight end / Napa High School / Napa, Calif.: The # 105 prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Bowers was Georgia’s best prospect, even though he was completely in California. Bowers has made it known he will sign up early, which has allowed him to start working with Todd Hartley and a talented narrow end room.
- Lovasea ‘Carroll / 4-star running back / IMG Academy / Warrenton, GA: The # 116 prospect in the recruiting cycle. Carroll almost returned to Florida during the recruiting process but stayed with the Bulldogs. He is a high school teammate with Sorey.
- Jonathan Jefferson / 4-star defensive tackle / Douglas County High School / Douglassville, Georgia: The nation’s No. 129 prospect. Jefferson enlisted in Georgia shortly after the start of the pandemic. His father was a heavyweight boxer who fought Wladimir Klitschko for the WBO title. Jefferson was the first Bulldog to sign Wednesday.
- Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins / 4-star defensive tackle / Gaffney High School / Gaffney, SC: No.147 in the recruiting class. Ingram-Dawkins is the top ranked player in the state of South Carolina. The Bulldogs beat Tennessee and South Carolina to clinch their entry.
- Chaz Chambliss / 4-star outside linebacker / Carrollton County High School / Carrollton, GA: Player # 358 in the 2021 draft round. Chambliss played for Georgia Power Carrolton County High School.
- Adonai Mitchell / 3-Star Receiver / Cane Ridge High School / Antioch, Tennessee: The candidate ranked # 383 in the 2021 recruiting cycle.
- Marlin Dean / 3-Star Defensive Tackle / IMG Academy / Elberton, GA: The prospect ranked # 504 in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Dean disengaged in Georgia at some point in the recruiting cycle before eventually returning to the class. from Georgia. From the same town as the former Mecole Hardman Bulldog.
