The network’s three main news organizations – ABC News, CBS News and NBC News – declared Joe Biden the winner of the presidential race in Georgia on Friday, with President Trump taking North Carolina.
If the projections turn out to be correct, Biden will win by the same electoral college margin that Trump got in 2016 against Hillary Clinton – with an unbalanced result of 306-232.
Trump has not conceded the race and says fraud, counting errors and illegal policies may have tipped the scales in close competitions, including in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, announced a results report on Wednesday for Georgia, where Biden leads with just 14,072 votes.
