Georgia Tech vs. Clemson: The Tigers opened the season with a 52-14 win over the Yellow Jackets. Trafficking midfielder Travis Etienne had a career high of 205 rushing yards and three career goals. The first touchdown for Etienne totaled 90 yards, which equaled Clemson's record for the longest run in the school's history. While the Tigers dominated the match with their ground run, Clemson had a very good pass when Trevor Lawrence hit Tee Higgins for a 62-yard touchdown. For the game, Lawrence scored 12-23 for 169 yards per touchdown and two interceptions. For the Yellow Jackets, Jordan Mason rushed for 72 yards for a touchdown.
