Georgia election official irritated by death threats
Voting Systems Director Gabriel Sterling called President Donald Trump, Senator Kelly Loeffler and Senator David Perdue after threatening a Dominion contractor in Gwinnett County.
ATLANTA – Gabriel Sterling, the voting systems manager for the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, rocked out at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon after weeks of harassment, threats and division.
“Everything has gone too far,” Sterling said. “It must stop!”
Sterling began the press conference by calling on President Donald Trump and Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, whom he said he still fully supports, for not speaking out against threats to the secretary of ‘State of Georgia Brad Raffensperger, his wife, and many election officials and entrepreneurs.
“Be the bigger man here and step in and tell your supporters to stop,” Sterling, a longtime conservative, directly challenged.

He said “the straw that broke the camel’s back” was a Gwinnett County contractor in his twenties with Dominion, the company responsible for Georgia’s new voting system, had a noose outside his house with his name on it after posting a video. online claiming to show him “manipulating data”.
“He just took a job,” said an emotional Sterling, adding that he had chosen to have a high profile job, but the young man who was threatened was just doing his job. “People started accusing him of treason.”
Sterling claimed the contractor had done nothing wrong and was uploading a batch report so he could read it.
He also explained how Raffensperger’s wife received “sexualized threats” on her personal phone.
“… Death threats, physical threats, intimidation, that’s too much. It’s not fair. They’ve lost high morale,” Sterling said.

Over the weekend, trucks emblazoned with the “Trump” and “Stop the Steal” flags circled the streets in front of Secretary Brad Raffensperger’s property, honking their horns as they passed. The group was protesting against what they perceive to be a stolen vote.
“Someone is going to get hurt, someone is going to get shot, someone is going to get killed,” Sterling said.
Sterling has also been the target of threats and said he needed police protection at his home while certifying for the presidential race.
“I’m a little pissed off,” Sterling said of the two current Georgia senators who called for Raffensperger’s resignation last month. He said the president calling the secretary of state an enemy of the people had “opened the floodgates” to intimidation, harassment and threats from those who opposed the election results in Georgia which show Joe Biden won. flow scheduled for January 5.
“You have to be responsible for your rhetoric,” Sterling said. “You have to be responsible for your statement. You have to be responsible for your actions, it shouldn’t be asking too much.”

The comments came just hours before the midnight deadline to complete a recount requested by the Trump campaign, as the vote was under one percent. Sterling said as of 3 p.m. 91 of the state’s 159 counties had completed their re-analysis of the ballots. He said all counties should be finished before the deadline.
