Georgia’s secretary of state has launched an investigation into whether pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wood voted illegally in the November election.

In a statement sent by email to NBC News, the secretary of state’s office said the ongoing investigation was into whether Wood was “a legal resident when he voted in November in light of an email he sent at [WSB-TV reporter] Justin Gray said he had been domiciled in South Carolina for several months. “
