Senator David Perdue, R-Ga., Accused his opponent in next week’s run-off election, Democrat Jon Ossoff, of lying by failing to disclose his business ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
In an exchange on Thursday with Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, Ossoff described accusations he knowingly failed to disclose compensation from Hong Kong-based PCCW Media Limited, which is linked to the Chinese government, as “a absolute nonsense “.
“This question needs to be asked, but it’s not asked by any of the liberal media out there,” Perdue told “America’s News HQ”
“It’s amazing to me that you can have the Eric Swalwell crisis, the Hunter Biden crisis and ignore the Jon Ossoff crisis,” Perdue told America’s News HQ. “He’s clearly a model of activity for the Chinese Communist Party. They identified Jon Ossoff after his US House bid in 2017 … They identified him as an ambitious young politician on the side. Democrat with whom they could probably have influence.

“So they hired him and he worked for two years for this Chinese Communist Party propaganda company … and he hid it from the Georgian people during his primaries,” Perdue continued. “He might not have won this primary, if he had fully revealed it. Perdue, who is in quarantine after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus, told Fox News he and his wife both tested negative.
“We had a positive test yesterday [Thursday] morning, and as per CDC guidelines and our doctor’s recommendations … we have decided to quarantine ourselves for the past few days, “he explained.” It’s terrible timing, but we won’t miss a stage.
