And now it’s Night’s turn to receive the Man of Action treatment from Gerard Butler.

The Scottish actor is set to star and produce a fourth film in his ‘Has Fallen’ franchise, Deadline.com reported on Monday.

Night Has Fallen will be filmed at the Millenium Media studio complex in Bulgaria as well as on location.

In a statement, Millennium Media President Jeffrey Greenstein said, “These movies aren’t motivated just by action, but by the special characters and connections of Mike Banning and his friends, family and enemies. . “

He added that everyone involved in the production is looking forward to ‘another journey full of those touching and fun character moments, along with unique and heightened action, and a dark turn of events that will send this next episode on an incredibly unexpected trajectory.

Meanwhile, the action film on the Butler, Greenland natural disaster, long delayed in North America due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will premiere nationwide as a video-on-demand on December 18.

It will then air on the HBO Max streaming service in 2021.

In the film, Butler and his wife (Morena Baccarin) and his young son fight for survival and seek sanctuary as a comet rushes towards Earth, destroying cities with advanced fragments and causing doomsday anarchy.
