Germany left the field five minutes earlier in Saturday’s friendly against Honduras over allegations of racial abuse by Jordan Torunarigha.
The German national team’s Twitter account said the game was interrupted with a tie of 1-1.

According to the Associated Press, Torunarigha was the subject of racist chants by some Schalke fans during a German Cup match with Hertha Berlin in February 2020.
Torunarigha was then kicked out of the match for throwing a crate of water on the ground after colliding with Schalke’s manager.
“We tried to calm him down, we asked the referee to protect the player and when this foul happened you have to show sympathy for his situation,” Jurgen Klinsmann, then manager of Hertha, told reporters. “But it was the opposite.”
