500 protesters Kandel does not come to rest even two months after the verdict

Two months ago, the Kandel District Court sentenced a refugee to eight and a half years in prison for the murder of 15-year-old Mia Kandel, who has become – and still is – the symbol of a political debate stormy on migration.
ATTwo months after the refugee Abdul D. was sentenced for the murder of 15-year-old Mia in Kandel, the community of 9,000 is not falling asleep. Just Saturday, 17 customer links were registered in the village. According to the police, however, some had already been canceled and 500 people participated in the various demonstrations.
The ongoing demonstrations in Kandel also occupy the judiciary. Before the 17 rallies announced on Saturday, the administrative court rejected some urgent requests. These objected to the decision of the district administration to move the locations of certain meetings to avoid clashes in the southern Palatinate community. Recently, the administrative court had already canceled the ban on meetings pronounced by the district administration.
On Saturday, the first discoveries are not serious incidents. The police showed their presence to keep politically opposed, partly opposing protesters at a distance. One can see in the photos of the demonstrations posters showing slogans against the law, but also the federal government's migration policy.

Two months ago, on 3 September, the Landau District Court sentenced Abdul D., probably a refugee born in Afghanistan, to eight and a half years in prison for the murder of his former girlfriend Mia in Kandel. The verdict of the judge is not final yet.
