The insolvency administrator did not comment on this. "We do not comment," Flöthers spokesman Christoph Möller said on Sunday. According to the newspaper, the creditors' commission expects to pay between 10 and 30 million euros in court fees.
Since 2012, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates holds 29.2% of Air Berlin. He has provided the company several times with fresh money and secured his participation in the German market.
