Verdict: Bosch must disclose diesel files – business

Stuttgart. Bosch to publish internal documents in the wake of the diesel scandal at VW. The Stuttgart Regional Court ruled that the car supplier was wrongly relying on the right to refuse to testify in several proceedings (Ref 22 O 205/16, 22 O 348/26). Several VW investors are complaining against the majority shareholder of Volkswagen Porsche SE, not against the Bosch supplier. Its role is only a secondary aspect. Investors blame Porsche SE and VW for informing the financial markets of the diesel scandal too late. Both companies reject that. On September 25, 2015, two US environmental agencies announced that VW had rigged large-scale diesel engines to meet the stringent US standards for nitrogen oxide testing. Under normal road conditions, exhaust emissions were several times greater than limits. The stock price of VW and the Porsche SE holding company had dropped sharply after the announcement, many investors have lost money.

Bosch produced software control of diesel pbadenger cars handled for the US market. The programs had been responsible VW. The Wolfsburg has given the handling of more than eleven million vehicles worldwide. There are still countless lawsuits from bruised car owners as well as shareholders of VW and Porsche SE on hold
