Reminder to Kaufland: Suspicion of Listeria in frozen vegetables

[ad_1]

Frenzel Tiefkühlwerke GmbH recalled frozen vegetables sold at Kaufland and Globus. The reason is a possible Listeria contamination.

The frozen food product "Frenzel Leipziger Allerlei, 450 g" sold through branches of the Kaufland and Globus retail chains was recalled as a precautionary measure. It can not be ruled out that it is contaminated with Listeria (Listeria monocytogenes), reports Frenzel Tiefkühlwerke GmbH. The cause of the recall was, according to a spokesperson, a warning from a Belgian supplier, who delivered some of the vegetables to Frenzel

The bacteria mentioned can be dangerous for pregnant and immunodeficient people. The notes have been published on lebensmittelwarnung.de, the Federal State Portal and the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety.
