A serious road accident in Alsfeld
A 47 year old driver from Alsfeld was driving his vehicle on the main road 62 towards Alsfeld town center. At the intersection of the traffic lights and the "An der Au" street, he probably ignored the red light and captured three pedestrians crossing the street. The 3 people were seriously injured. A 41-year-old man from the district of Diepholz / Lower Saxony was admitted to Alsfeld hospital after first aid on the spot. His 7-year-old daughter had to be transported from a rescue helicopter to a special clinic in Kbadel because of fatal injuries. The other involved in the accident, a 59-year-old woman from Alsfeld, was transported to Frankfurt by a second rescue helicopter
The scene of the accident had to be cut off during rescue operations and the traffic had to be hijacked. The blocking of the B 62 could be reversed at 22:10.
An expert was consulted to clarify the cause of the accident and the car in question was secured
