The T2 additional terminal at the BER can be constructed. If T 2 is not completed in time for the opening of the BER, Tegel Airport will probably have to remain temporarily in service. It is legally stipulated that it must be closed at the BER no later than six months after full commissioning of the new runways.
The new T 2 terminal will receive all pbadenger handling facilities. The aircraft will be shipped via North Pier, with which the terminal T 2 will be connected by two bridges.
