Elon Musk has to stop one of his LA tunnel projects. Residents have already sued the city. But more tunnels need to be built.

In early November, Elon Musk showed in a video a high-speed tunnel "worrisome" under L.A. and confirmed the scheduled opening date of December 10 for the three-kilometer test track. However, another tunnel project in the west of Los Angeles has now erupted.

Several groups of residents had already sued the city of Los Angeles, because the company, Musks Boring, would have released the construction of the tunnel of certain environmental requirements. As part of the agreement between the city and its neighbors, Musk had to give up its tunnel project, as reported by Business Insider.

Boring Company: a 3 km long Sepulveda tunnel will not be built

The so-called Sepulveda Tunnel reportedly was driven from a Boring Company property on Sepulveda Boulevard, LA, to Washington Boulevard, Culver City, Los Angeles County, for a distance of just over three kilometers.

Instead of the tunnel project, introduced in 2017 and that failed, The Boring Company wants to build a tunnel under the stadium of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, as NBC says. The so-called Dugout loop linking the stadium to an existing subway station – which is the same – is not yet clear.

In less than four minutes, the Dodgers then join an underground track of almost five kilometers crossing, among others, the Sunset Boulevard, reinstalled in the transport units of type minibus provided. This should cost only one dollar per person per way.

Tunnels of Elon Musk are supposed to guide city dwellers in difficulty more quickly through L.A.

The tunneling projects of parts of Los Angeles and providing them with a rapid transportation system apparently came to light because Elon Musk was annoyed by the many traffic jams on Interstate 405 – and publicly expressed his anger. However, sleds for car transport have been replaced by vehicles for the transport of pedestrians and cyclists.
