In December 2018, the Amazon Prime streaming service is in fact a more contemplative approach and retains its numbers with new series and new films. Qualitatively, however, the monthly offer can really be seen. Here you will find the most important restarts.

In any case, own film productions are rare on Amazon Prime, but even their own series are rare in December. Nevertheless, the range of fresh series is quite attractive.

These series are new to Amazon Prime

Starting November 30, Amazon Prime will include "The Connors" in the program. Although it misses the first season of the revived American series, "Roseanne" continues for the German market, but the series now renamed after the expulsion of Star Roseanne Barr because of racist comments reaches us more quickly. The series continues to revolve around the children and father of the Connor family after Mother Roseanne blessed the clock. The cheeky humor, which also attracted many fans during its appearance on television in the early 90's. US statistics show that the show apparently withstood the forced exit of Roseanne.

December 1st, it will be exciting and dark. With the second season of "The Missing" begins a new story about a missing child and the desperate search for parents for new evidence and clues. The first season of the series was already a melancholy moment in the British crime drama. The second season is not inferior. This time, the "Walking Dead" star, David Morrissey, is the father who tries to clarify the circumstances of his daughter's disappearance and resurrection. Tcheky Karyo is again a French policeman with the experience of kidnapping children. For followers of good Dark Crime fabrics, this series is a must.

A little silly and a little oblique it will be from December 14th. Then "Future Man", a series featuring the star of "Panem", Josh Hutcherson, begins. It is a young concierge playing a video game during his free time. But when he finally arrives at the last level, a surprise awaits him: two characters from the game appear in his room, informing him that he has been chosen to fight in the real world against the monsters that he has. He regarded as mere characters of the game. The series of fresh and young comedies has already been extended to the US for a second season, which begins in January 2019, Amazon Prime shows us the first 13 episodes.

Between the years, December 28, the fifth season of "Painting is over", which continues to ignore the big and small problems related to aging, parenting and other problems. The fact that Kai Wiesinger and Bettina Zimmermann are two main actors who also form a couple in real life continues to give the series its very special spice. Ten new episodes still guarantee a lot of laughs.

Education and horror – is it possible? You'll know it as early as December 1st, because "Pride, Prejudice and Zombies" will be featured on Amazon Prime. The very free adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, embellished with many fresh undead, features Lily James and Suki Waterhopuse in the lead roles, but also boasts two "Game of Thrones" stars, Charles Dance and Lena Headey. Despite the plague of zombies, the story remains surprisingly close to the famous story of 1813. For lovers of literature who can tolerate a little blood, a good mood for the time of contemplation.

December 1 is also much more serious and historically closer, because with "The Silent Clbadroom", Amazon Prime presents a new piece of history – from Germany. The film tells the true story of a school clbad from the GDR in 1956, which observed a minute of silence because of the depressed popular uprising in Hungary. And all are mbadively attacked and threatened by the authorities. Leonard Scheicher (also present in the television series "The Boat") and Lena Klenke play the lead role in this depressing film about freedom of expression and abuse of power.

Laugh or not? In the black comedy "I, Tonya", the viewer often does not know it. Because the big film about the true story of skater Tonya Harding, which is slightly exaggerated satirical, is not easy to believe. And even less easy to digest. The life of Harding (Margo Robbie) between a mother monster (Oscar for Allison Janney) and a badping husband ("Winter Soldier" Sebastian Stan) is anything but funny, but director Craig Gillespie continues to make laughter laugh. Super game and an absolute recommendation!

The December 24 Christmas present is available this year for action fans, because with "Fast & Furious 8" comes the last part of the Amazon Prime saga. And again, in addition to many of Dwayne Johnson's Starpower, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham, there are also many absurdly oblique car stunts to be seen, as no other film series shows. This Charlize Theron probably plays the most beautiful villain in the series. For popcorn fans, the Christmas date at Amazon Prime is the most important date.

Is there something for you? What do you expect most?
