More than three years ago, Markus Würth, son of billionaire Reinhold Würth, was abducted from an integrative housing group. However, the trial of one of the alleged perpetrators ends without verdict.
About three and a half years after the kidnapping of billionaire Reinhold Würth's son, a 48-year-old defendant was acquitted. The Giessen District Court did not consider that it was proved that the man was involved in the crime.
The prosecution accused the accused of having taken part in the abduction of the then 50-year-old victim in June 2015. The Serb allegedly committed the crime with accomplices and demanded ransom three million euros over the phone. The transfer of money having failed, the victim was released almost intact. The prosecutor has required three and a half years of imprisonment for extortional kidnapping. The defense had pleaded for acquittal, the court has now joined.
The victim of the abduction is the son of the entrepreneur of Baden-Württemberg and the "king of screws" Würth. Fifty-year-old Markus Würth was kidnapped in June 2015 in a shared apartment for disabled and non-disabled people in the Hesse Slot. A master singer has demanded a ransom of three million euros over the phone.
One of the most important pieces of evidence in the circumstantial process was a voice notice. For this, the experts had examined the recorded voice of the master singer. Among other things, the badysis provided information on the appellant's home region and on which he could have learned German. Because it spoke with a clear accent.
The profile created corresponded from the investigators' point of view to the Serbian defendant. The examiners also came after a comparison of the accused's voice with that of the ransom to conclude that the speakers are "almost certainly" identical. A witness from the Rhine-Main region brought the investigators to the 48-year-old track now acquitted.
