Airport Association Survey: the most popular holiday destination in Spain

Turkey recorded a 19 percent drop in pbadengers. The largest increase was 46% to 1.67 million pbadengers. The internal route- The most popular German is between Berlin and Munich (1.66 million pbadengers in both directions). The number of pbadengers is also high on the lines Berlin-Cologne / Bonn (1.58 million pbadengers), Hamburg-Munich (1.36 million) and Munich-Dusseldorf (1.22 million). The average age of air travelers is 42 years old. The proportion of young pbadengers up to the age of 29 has increased from 22 to 25% since 2014.

In 2017, more than 162,000 pbadengers departed from 23 German airports, from Hamburg to Friedrichshafen , were interviewed for the ADV survey. The Airport Association conducts the survey every three years.
