Amazon offers interested developers free machine learning lessons. Until now, internal developers have been trained at the so-called "Machine Learning University".

From now on, the e-commerce giant and cloud provider will provide the free courses it contains to all interested developers. In total, the course set includes 30 courses comprising more than 45 hours of hardware, videos and test applications, as reported by The Next Web. According to Amazon, courses are suitable for novice and experienced developers.
In addition to developers, Amazon course content may also be of interest to scientists, data platform developers, and business people in general. It conveys fundamental concepts that are complemented by examples of applications in the real world. The content concerns the optimization of delivery routes, the forecast of gift wrapping in the stores or the predictions regarding the awarding of film prices on the basis of data from the film database IMDB.
But there is also a disadvantage: if the use of machine learning courses is essentially free, developers have to pay for the cloud services they need for their tests. If you want to obtain the AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certificate, you must put $ 300 on the table. Last year, Amazon had already introduced Sagemaker, a tool at least initially free for developers in machine learning.

In addition to Amazon, the main competitors in the cloud, Google and Microsoft, offer special machine learning courses. Google, for example, used Coursera to offer a free crash course and a special fee-based course. Microsoft also offers a set of courses to introduce developers to machine learning.
