Ein irres Gerücht aus Schottland könnte den Fans nun Hoffnung machen: Wie der Daily Record berichtet, sind die Bayern offiziell in die Verhandlungen um Leroy Sané eingestiegen. Es sei die Erlaubnis erteilt worden, sich mit Sanés Beratern zu treffen und über einen möglichen Wechsel zu sprechen.

Der 23-Jährige habe sich zuletzt geweigert, seinen Vertrag beim alten und neuen englischen Meister Manchester City zu verlängern. Der derzeitige Kontrakt läuft bis 2021. City-Sportdirektor Txiki Begiristain würde den Flügelstürmer natürlich gerne behalten, schließlich hat er eine starke Saison gespielt. Aber: Laut Daily Record hat Begiristain Freunden erzählt, dbad er Sané im kommenden Transferfenster womöglich verkaufen muss. Da der Vertrag eine immer kürzere Dauer hat und dadurch auch eine mögliche Ablösesumme schrumpft, sei ihm das Risiko zu hoch, noch länger zu warten.

Sané-Vater verrät: Eine Personalie verhinderte Wechsel zum FC Bayern

Erstmeldung vom 9. Januar 2018: München – Die Bayern-Zukunft auf den Flügeln ist nicht erst in dieser Saison eines der landauf, landab am heißesten diskutierten Themen. Die Verträge von Arjen Robben und Franck Ribéry enden im Sommer, beide Stars zählen als Mittdreißiger zu den ältesten Feldspielern der Bundesliga. Dbad Alter jedoch nicht vor Torgeilheit schützt, beweisen „Robbéry“ in schöner Regelmäßigkeit – jüngstes Beispiel: der Dreierpack binnen elf Minuten des Franzosen im Testspiel gegen Sonnenhof Großaspach.

Möglicherweise wären die Personalien gar nicht so hochgekocht worden, wenn der FC Bayern vor einigen Jahren eines der weltweit größten Talente für einen Wechsel an die Säbener Straße hätte begeistern können. Und das schien offenbar alles andere als unrealistisch. „Mein Junge hätte nach Barcelona, Madrid oder Bayern München gehen können. Die halbe Welt wollte ihn“, verriet Ex-Bundesligaprofi Souleymane Sané, Vater von Nationalspieler Leroy Sané, im Gespräch mit Reviersport.

„Leroy wollte zu Pep Guardiola“

Der als Berater aktive Senegalese erklärte weiter, die Entscheidung pro Manchester City habe nur an einer Person gehangen: „Leroy wollte zu Pep Guardiola. Nur zu ihm. Wäre Guardiola in München geblieben, würde Leroy jetzt bei den Bayern spielen.“ Zur Erinnerung: Von 2013 bis 2016 trainierte der Katalane die Roten, gewann in dieser Zeit drei souverän erspielte Meisterschaften und feierte zwei Pokalsiege. In der Champions League jedoch, worauf sich alles zu fokussieren schien, scheiterte Guardiolas Team Jahr für Jahr im Halbfinale.

So zog der Titelhamster nach drei Spielzeiten beim FC Bayern weiter nach Manchester – und bekam im EM-Sommer quasi als Begrüßungsgeschenk den europaweit heiß begehrten Sané spendiert. Mit der Ablöse von 50 Millionen Euro, die die „Citizens“ an Schalke überwiesen, ist der gebürtige Essener der teuerste deutsche Fußballprofi. Um diese Summe im völlig überhitzten Profi-Business wert zu sein, benötigte der pfeilschnelle Linksfuß gerade einmal 47 Bundesliga- und zwei Pokalpartien sowie acht Auftritte in Champions und Europa League mit insgesamt 13 Treffern.

21 Mal bei ManCity in der Startelf

Mittlerweile dürfte der am Donnerstag 22 Jahre jung werdende Sané wohl die doppelte Summe einbringen. Beim in dieser Saison erfolgreichsten Klub der Topligen ist er längst zum Stammspieler avanciert, verpbadte seit Sommer erst vier Spiele und stand 21 Mal in der Startformation. Am Samstag erzielte Sané beim 4:1 im FA Cup gegen das Premier-League-Überraschungsteam FC Burnley seinen neunten Saisontreffer – der erste seit Ende Oktober.

Die Chancen für den FC Bayern auf eine spätere Verpflichtung dürften also stark gen Null tendieren – zumal Geld für ManCity ohnehin eine allenfalls untergeordnete Rolle spielt. Die Abu Dhabi United Group um Klubboss Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak lässt grüßen. Zudem ist Sané Senior mit der Entwicklung seines noch bis 2021 gebundenen Filius hochzufrieden: „Leroy arbeitet hart, er weiß, dbad er noch viel lernen muss. Bei Pep Guardiola ist er aber in den besten Händen. Denn Leroys Weg ist noch lange nicht zu Ende.“

Bei den Roten hat sich der Fokus bereits auf ein anderes großes deutsches Talent gerichtet: Julian Brandt von Bayer Leverkusen wäre im Vergleich mit Sané wohl eher ein Schnäppchen. Und dann besteht ja noch die Chance, den jedoch verletzungsanfälligen Serge Gnabry nach dessen Leihe von 1899 Hoffenheim zurückzuholen. Nicht zu vergessen: Kingsley Coman, der sein stärkstes Jahr im Bayern-Dress spielt. Es bieten sich also genug Optionen, um die Flügelfrage in aller Besonnenheit anzugehen.
