Calw – Four mentally ill offenders fled a closed clinic in Calw, Baden-Württemberg.
Two of the men are still on the run Thursday morning, as the police in Karlsruhe announced. The other two were taken after a large manhunt, during which locating dogs and a police helicopter were in action, at the Calw-Hirsau station.
The four men submerged a caregiver and a nurse Wednesday night at 10 pm and were locked in a room. Then they left the clinic in the northern Black Forest.
According to the police, the two remaining men are aged 23 and 41 and are probably not armed. They were robbery offenses in closed psychiatry. Nevertheless, it is possible that men are "unpredictable in the exceptional situation".
They were probably still in the Calw area. If you meet the men, you must inform the police immediately.
