The catfish had created excitement in the nearby city of Frankfurt as a "chick killer" in recent weeks. In addition to the fish, he would have eaten chicks protected by species of water hens and mallard ducks. Therefore, the fish called Vali should be caught. "We did not catch it," said professional fisherman Dieter Stitz. He was, according to the city with a team of up to four other fishermen at the pond. Deep waters up to 80 centimeters with about 2500 square meters are considered too small for large fish. The search operation failed on Saturday and continued on Sunday night. The fishermen hoped that the fish would go in the net because the animals are nocturnal.
