Chaos in the Ajax block: Athens fans throw Pyro torches | Football News

AEK supporters launch Pyro torches and Molotov badtails into the guest block before the Champions League match against Ajax Amsterdam.

The chaotic scenes take place on the fifth day of the group stage of the Champions League in Athens. The images on Twitter show a faithful Greek throwing a pyro flame into the unhindered guest block.

The police are trying to end the chaos with batons. Supporters of AEK Athens would have suspected that the block of Amsterdam is also a fan of Panathinaikos Athens.

"Why does the police just let the guy throw things into the crowd without doing anything? F ******* g crazy," wrote a user on Reddit.

Another user writes: "Endangering people's lives should be an immediate disqualification and a ban on European competitions".

"Anything that really exploded, it seemed dangerous like hell, is someone hurt, what do these people think ?!" said one other user.

The former Schalke Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hopes that "no one has been hurt and that idiot is caught".
