Gelsenkirchen. Since the end of the afternoon, there is a column of smoke over Gelsenkirchen. As reported by firefighters at the request of DER WESTEN, the discharge of the Emscherbruch in Resse is burning.
"A temporary warehouse with garbage caught on fire," a spokesman said. The fire department advises all residents to keep the windows and doors closed. But it is just a safety measure: "There is no escape of hazardous substances." The warning only concerns residents of the Wiedehofstraße.
